What is Startup Pinay?

It is an initiative that aims to create a diverse, inclusive startup landscape in the Philippines by empowering women founders, leaders, enablers, and explorers.

Through the Startup Pinay program, QBO aims to take meaningful steps towards shifting gender norms, especially on the role of women in the workplace.

In championing a movement that promotes women’s visibility, Startup Pinay also strives to increase access to growth capital to create a better landscape for women-owned and women-led startups in the Philippines.

The program fosters a community of female-led tech startups through its three core actions:

Exposure

International Delegations, Media Features, Startup Conferences

Network

Community Meetups, Business Meetings

Capacity Building

Mentorship, FEEDBAQ, WORQSHOPS, BASIQS, Incubation & Acceleration Programs

With these core actions at the heart of the initiative, QBO actively promotes opportunities for women to lead in the tech community.
